A gun in Suomenlinna

Suomenlinna Fortress was built in 18th century and occupies a number of small islands guarding the entrance to Helsinki harbour. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today its bastions and garrisons shelter museums, art galleries, an open air theatre, restaurants, and workshops.

Practical information

The boat will depart from Kauppatori (Market Square) quay. Check the exact point from the map. The boat’s name is MONICA. Please be there in good time, at very latest 5:50pm. The boat cannot wait for latecomers!

For your own safety and comfort, choose sensible shoes suitable for cobbled streets, gravel paths, etc. Also dress warm as Suomenlinna is exposed to winds.
